About the Film

THROUGH THE GLASS was inspired by a profound out-of-body experience I had during a cold January night after Atlanta was hit by a major snowstorm.

In that experience, I felt myself leave my body and travel to a brick bungalow in Atlanta’s Peachtree Battle area, where someone close to my life was dying of cancer. Looking through the glass of a door, I saw him lying peacefully in bed and understood he was between worlds.

Moments later, I witnessed what I can only describe as his soul leaving his body and rising toward the ceiling. There was no fear — only peace.

That experience became the foundation for THROUGH THE GLASS, a supernatural short drama about love, death, release, and the possibility that the soul’s journey continues beyond the body.

The film examines:
